Saying goodbye to your furry family member is the most difficult decision to make.  
Being at home allows your pet to be where they are most comfortable and loved. Being at home offers you and your family privacy and space to celebrate your beloved pet’s life and grieve.

All of our pet loss services include:

• A specialized veterinarian certified in Hospice and Palliative Care (AHPC) and Pet loss and Grief companioning (PLGC), coming to your home to assist your pet in gently passing on.

• Warm and caring initial phone consultation prior to the appointment

• A two step process including gentle sedation with pain relieving medication, followed by a medication that will allow your pet to peacefully pass away.

• Travel 10 Miles (one way) travel from our home office in Oshkosh. Additional travel fees apply to further distances.

• A keepsake clay paw print of your pet made by the veterinarian at the time of the appointment. A fur clipping is also provided at family request.

Home Euthanasia Services:

• Gentle In-home Pet Euthanasia: Family arranges for burial or cremation...$295 (+ tax)*

  • We recommend families refer to their local ordinances regarding home burial as there are potential safety issues. Here are burial guidelines for more information about potential risks to wildlife & the environment.

• Home Euthanasia with Group Cremation: We will transport your pet to the crematorium and your pet is communally cremated. The ashes are scattered at Forrest Run Pet Crematory memorial garden (no ashes returned, however you may visit the memorial garden)...$395*

• Home Euthanasia with Private Cremation: We will transport your pet to the crematorium & your pet is privately cremated. Your pet's cremains can be picked by your family at our home office (Oshkosh) in a beautifully crafted wooden urn with personalized nameplate (typically 10-14 days)...$535 (+tax) for pets 15lbs or less
  $575(+tax) for pets more than 16-80lbs*

~Please Note: We are not an Emergency Clinic. As much as we would love to be able to help every pet at any time, we are just not staffed to handle that level of service. We schedule by appointment and recommend a few days notice if possible. If you need help on short notice, of course we will help if we can.

-After-hours appointments may be available upon request and the doctor’s availability. An after hours fee applies Monday-Friday 5pm-9am, Weekends and Holidays. There may be additional travel fees for an after hours appointment as the doctor may be traveling a further distance that from the home office. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of visit.  We accept cash, check, Visa and Mastercard.

A service charge of 3% will be applied to all credit card purchases in an effort to offset rising credit card costs.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that there are instances where you may need to cancel an appointment. We kindly request that you give us as much notice so we can continue to provide the best care to pets and their families when help is needed. The cancellation policy also applies to pets that passed prior to the scheduled appointment.

If a cancellation is requested:

• A full refund is given when we are notified 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment.

• If a cancellation is requested within 24 hours to 3 hours of your scheduled appointment, a $35 cancellation fee will be charged.

• If less than 3 hours advance notice is given, the full appointment fee will be charged.
